What bride doesn't make her own wedding cake?!

We had so many guests telling us afterwards that it was the best cake they'd ever had. I couldn't be happier as both a bride and a baker!

I am still hearing about how good our wedding cake was from guests and I doubt the compliments will ever stop coming... I am already looking forward to eating our top tier on our one year anniversary. Thank you for the perfect wedding cake, Rebekah!

It took me near 3 months for me to write this review because I am a very distracted person but my wedding cake was amazing. The taste of it was super delicious, presentation was exactly how I wanted and Rebekah is the sweetest person ever. She even made a cake for my parent’s 30th anniversary as well. All of the flavors were so good but my favorite was the almond one! I would highly recommend this business for any event you may have. You will not regret it!

Sweet April Cakes made a gorgeous cake for our August 10 wedding! Chocolate mint (custom) and strawberry layers that were to die for.

From beginning to end, it was fantastic. Rebekah worked with me to figure out what we wanted and made suggestions where I wasn’t sure.

Rebekah is prompt, professional, and just a lot of fun to work with. The cake surpassed ALL our expectations in both taste and looks. There was some family competition over who got to take home the leftover cake - though there wasn’t much left over, as some guests had 3rd helpings ❤️

Do it! I got married in September 2016, and Rebekah sat down with me, listened to my ideas about what my dream cake would look like, and she sketched it out in front of me. She was able to work with me on everything! Size, look, decoration, flavor, and even filling! I had the best cake I could imagine, and all of my guests at the wedding complimented us on not just the beauty of the cake, but also the unbelievable moistness and richness of flavor. The buttercream icing was perfection! I highly recommend Sweet April Cakes for the most important cake of your life!

I was having such a bad experience with finding a baker/cake stylist until I ran across Sweet April Cakes. Rebecca was great! All I had to do was choose my flavors, and she did the rest. The cake was absolutely beautiful and it taste good too! I especially loved the detail in the design. It was definently made with love. If you're looking for someone professional and easy to work with, give Sweet April Cakes a try. Compared to other bakers in the area, cost is about the same, if not less expensive. My cake and cupcakes were amazing. It was so pretty we didn't want to cut it! My guests were raving about how good they all tasted and some even went back for seconds. I was so pleased with how it looked and the communication with our vision.

I couldn't have asked for a more beautiful and delicious cake. Typically wedding cakes are beautiful on the outside but lackluster in taste... Not so with this one! Designed by hand to awe my guests and delectable inside to keep them happy, I will refer Rebekah to all my friends and family here on out.

I really liked the cake Rebekah made for my wedding! I had a butterfly themed wedding, and so she made a really beautiful cake with butterflies on it. I liked that she customized it for my wedding! Not only that, the cake was really good! Normally I think cake frosting is gross, but her frosting was delicious. I even had guests commenting afterwards on how pretty the cake was and how good it tasted!

We found Rebekah through some close friends of ours, and we had a fantastic experience with her! She was very helpful and fun to work with, and she helped us create the perfect cake for our wedding. Rebekah let us try several flavors in the tasting, and she ended up putting a different one in each tier of our cake because we liked them all so much! We couldn't taste a difference between our gluten free tier and the regular tiers, and our guests devoured the cake in minutes. The outside of the cake was beautifully decorated, and matched our specifications exactly. The caterers at our reception venue told us they hadn't seen such an elegant cake in years!

Made my wedding cake for 250+ people, gluten free (had some hesitance about making it entirely gluten free) but those doubts were so unfounded. It turned out SO much better than any regular wedding cake I have ever had!! Delicious cake, looked gorgeous and everyone loved it! She was great to work with! Has a gift and a passion that drives her and you would not be amiss to have her bake you something incredible!
